Photographs made as research documents of Morris' field work excavating Anasazi ruins in the San Juan Drainage of southern Colorado and northern New Mexico and Arizona, including Canyon del Muerto, Canyon de Chelly, La Plata River Valley, and Durango. Many images show workers in the excavations.
